Craig graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point in 1992 with Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a command pilot with more than 3,000 flight hours in both the F-16 and F-22 aircraft. Craig served multiple combat tours in the Middle East, Southwest and Southeast Asia, and instructed at the US Air Force Fighter Weapons School (“Top Gun”). He commanded the 8th Fighter Squadron “Black Sheep”, Holloman Air Force Base, NM; commanded the 180th Fighter Wing “Stingers”, Toledo Air Base, Toledo Express Airport, OH; and commanded the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing, Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan. Craig's final assignment was Vice Commander 12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern), Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ. Additionally, he earned two Masters degrees; one Master of Science, Strategic Intelligence, National Intelligence University, Washington D.C., and a Master of Science, Strategic Studies, Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, PA. Craig retired from the US Air Force as a Brigadier General and lives in Cave Creek, AZ with his wife and 3 kids.
