Daniel Garrison

Daniel is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. He was stationed with Ryan in the 85th Flying Training Squadron at Laughlin AFB where together they instructed Air Force pilot trainees in the T-6II aircraft. He has over 2,200 flight hours, primarily in rotary aircraft, including the UH-1N, T-6II, T-38, TH-1, and T-1A aircrafts. Daniel was deployed for one year in Kabul, Afghanistan where he served as a military liaison to the Department of State. He is currently assigned to Laughlin Air Force Base as the 47th Operations Support Squadron Commander. Daniel's education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering (emphasis, astronautics) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master of Science degree in Space Sciences from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Master of Military Studies degree from Marine Corps University (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges). Daniel is a member of the Order of Daedalians, the Air Force Association, is a Boy Scouts of America Den Leader, and has previous non-profit experience as a board member on a religious 501(c)(3). He and his wife, Amanda, have been married for ten years and they currently live in Texas with their three children.
