Megan is currently a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Shaw AFB. Previously, she was the Assistant News Director at KNBN - NewsCenter1, Rapid City, SD. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Texas A&M University. She earned her Private Pilot's License in July 2021, Air Force RPA Pilot Wings in August 2024, and Instrument rating in November 2024.

Megan met Ryan in 2013 while working at the local airport. Ryan was a student pilot and flew in while flying the T-6. They were married in Del Rio in 2016. Together, they were stationed at Laughlin AFB, Dyess AFB, and Ellsworth AFB.
